George Baloghy has painted numerous commissioned art works over the years. This forms a significant portion of his output. Rarely are these works seen in public, as they are painted specifically for clients and are never exhibited. There have been unusual requests such as historical pictures, personalised landscapes, and the artist has been able to accommodate these while at the same time being true to his painting style.

Depending on size and complexity of the painting, commissioned work usually ranges from NZ $3,000 - NZ $16,000.
